1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Freya: Weekly Meal Planner mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Freya is a meal planning application that provides:
- AI-generated weekly meal plans
- Recipe management and storage
- Recipe import from social media platforms
- Grocery list generation
- Nutritional tracking and macro calculations
- Dietary preference customization
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of the App, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Subscription and Payments
4.1 Free Tier
The free tier includes limited features such as 1 meal plan per month and basic recipe access.
4.2 Premium Subscription
Premium subscriptions provide unlimited meal plans, recipe import, macro tracking, and additional features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
4.3 Billing
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions through your device's app store settings.
4.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled by the respective app stores according to their policies. We do not process refunds directly.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including custom recipes. By using the App, you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display your content for the purpose of providing our services.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the App
- Upload malicious content or code
7. Third-Party Content
The App may allow importing recipes from third-party platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube). We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party content. Use of imported content is subject to the respective platform's terms of service.
8. Health Disclaimer
The App provides general meal planning and nutritional information for informational purposes only. It is not intended as medical or dietary advice. Always consult with a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have health conditions or allergies.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Freya and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written consent.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Freya from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
